Only upside was the Rs. 700 price. This was my worst experience in Patia. The rooms were all small, dirty and smelly, and the location wasn't proper either. The woman at reception acted like the owner and was so rude I can't put it into words, practically like a witch. Ask for ordinary water and they'll misbehave. They don't know basic manners for dealing with customers. My advice is never to book or stay here. All those five-star reviews are paid, in my view.

We ended up leaving and calling Oyo, who arranged a different hotel. The rooms were in a similar state even when we tried switching: dirty sheets, ACs that didn't work properly, and a strong damp smell. When we pulled the curtains, mosquitoes flew straight at us; we also saw cockroaches and a lizard, which made it seem like the rooms weren't cleaned regularly. We asked reception to deal with the pests, but the guy said there was nothing he could do. I hope the place improves.

The receptionist argued with customers and used abusive language over money, saying that since you'd booked through OYO, you should ask them about check-in. They wouldn't let us into the hotel at that price, and when challenged, they threatened to beat us. Worst hotel I've stayed at.

The one thing that worked well was the AC cooling. Everything else made this one of my worst hotel stays in Bhubaneswar. It's a long way in from the main road, so you'll need a cab, Ola or Uber, and the road floods during monsoon. The sheets and pillow covers were dirty, the room was full of mosquitoes, there was no dustbin or toiletries, and TataSky wasn't subscribed on the TV. Staff and receptionist were awful. Avoid it at any cost.

The place was very untidy, from the floors and sheets to the towels, washroom and commode. Staff were disorganized and undisciplined, there was no room service, and the policy wasn't transparent. I'd never recommend it.
