OYO Home 81924 Jaam's Home Stay

It has a homely feel and works well for a large family or a marriage booking. Bhubaneswar Railway Station's back gate is about 1-1.5 km away, an easy walk.

The room and bed were dirty. I asked the manager for a bill for my stay, but he said the booking partner, booking.com, would provide it.

The facilities are top-notch, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. A really good stay.

I arrived at 5:20 pm on the 27th and stayed two days. My train wasn't until 5 pm on March 1, so I asked to keep the room until at least 3 pm, but the receptionist refused even though there were no bookings until then. I was with a four-year-old, and we had to wait in the hall and outside from 11 am to 2 pm. The mattress in room 004 was also hard and uneven, and sleeping on it caused body pain. There was no AC remote to change the temperature from the default 20, which made it hard to sleep at night. I tried using the fan instead, but its faulty regulator wouldn't let me adjust the speed. I had booked directly and asked for ₹800 a day for two days, ₹1,600 total. After a lot of asking, the receptionist still charged ₹900 a day, ₹1,800 for both days.
