There were a lot of cockroaches in the room, which made the stay uncomfortable, so I’ve taken off one star. For the price, though, the room was good, the ambience and service were nice, and check-in and check-out were easy and smooth.
I want the CEO of OYO to review my review. How can you put your brand name on rooms without seeing them in person, based only on filtered room photos? I didn’t take any pictures, but these were the dirtiest and most suffocating rooms I’ve experienced in all my travels.
Don’t trust the star rating. At checkout, they were pushing guests to give five stars. The place was unhygienic, with a bad smell in the rooms, and even basic things like a clean washroom couldn’t be expected. Worst hotel.
The rooms smelled rotten and had no ventilation. The place was in such bad shape that I wouldn’t recommend it even to someone who was drunk and only needed a bed. They still charged 30 rupees for a water bottle marked 20 MRP. The rooms and service were both rotten. I wish I’d taken a picture, but I didn’t want my camera to suffer.
I booked through MMT, but the room looked nothing like the pictures. It wasn’t clean, and the staff admitted that the online room photos were different from what the room actually looked like. A waste of money and energy, and I didn’t get a refund either. Totally fraud.
