Pravasa Hotel Vijayapura

The staff were a big part of what made our event go smoothly. LOVE SINGH and MITHUN Naik were especially helpful, attentive, and well organized throughout. The hall itself is spacious, well ventilated, and comfortable even for a long event, with tidy seating and a clear view of the stage. Modern chandeliers and softer ceiling lights give it an elegant feel, and the interiors are well maintained. The venue worked well for our event, and seems suited to seminars, family gatherings, business meetings, and celebrations. The service, comfortable setting, and attractive hall made a strong impression on me. I’d gladly consider it again for another event.

Traveling with an infant, we really appreciated Santosh and Vaishali arranging a generous extension to our checkout time. The complimentary breakfast was also very good, and the restaurant food was decent and worth trying. I had found Pravasa while looking for a place in Vijayapura on my South India trip, after a colleague recommended it. Its cleanliness, especially in the room, and the staff's manner were even better than I expected. I checked prices online, then called to ask whether there might be a discount. They offered us a premium room at an affordable rate. If I return to Vijayapura, Pravasa will be my first choice.

The four stars are mainly for the room and front desk. Pramod checked us in with a smile and was courteous and helpful, while Santosh was informative both over the phone and when we met. Vallabh and Pranju were helpful in the restaurant too. The hotel is new, with fresh, clean rooms, good AC and bathrooms, and efficient elevators to the second and third floors. I liked the bed and bathing facilities provided for our driver. The suite fan placement could be better. Dinner was a real letdown. Service coordination and communication were poor, the bill was puzzling, and the food was overpriced. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was inexcusable even on a Saturday. Sunday's buffet breakfast was limited but tolerable.

The pool was a relaxing part of my stay, and the complimentary breakfast had a nice range of tasty food. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the room and bathroom, and I was happy with the amenities. Staff were welcoming, and room service was quick and excellent. I had a very pleasant time at Hotel Pravas and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bijapur. I’d be glad to stay again. 🌸🏨💖
