Hotel Mamoni Group

I especially liked the food and location, and it’s a very good hotel. The room cleanliness could use a little improvement.

We stayed on 16th October 2025. The staff behaved well, and the room they provided was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was neat and clean too. It’s just 1.2 km from the station and 1.4 km from the beach.

Room: 6/10. Management: 3/10. Room service, geyser, blanket, and staff responsibility: all 0/10. The blanket smelled very bad. The room itself was good, but the staff behavior was not good at all, especially Indranath Saha, whom I rated 0/10. Digha Shankarpur Development Authority (DSDA) charges a fee even though it isn’t mandatory. We booked through MakeMyTrip on the 12th for the 14th, but when we arrived at 5:30 PM, six hours after check-in time, reception hadn’t even started the check-in formalities. After a long, tiring journey, we expected the room to be ready. They first put us on the fourth floor despite seeing our elderly parents. When we asked to change rooms, Indranath Babu told us we could leave the hotel. Our luggage was taken out and left on the balcony. Later, after we called the number they gave us, they said they would allot us a room. Indranath Babu then came back into the room and told me to vacate it. I asked them to open the door at 5 AM the next day, and they said the hotel door opens at 5 AM. But the next morning they didn’t open it or answer my calls. Later they told me to vacate the room at 9 AM. We had two rooms, and because of their negligence, when I said we’d vacate one at 10 AM, Indranath Babu said unpleasant and insulting things. Terrible.

I booked two nights for my parents. They had a great stay, and I highly recommend the hotel. The location was good, the room and service were excellent, and they really liked the food.
