Hotel Bikalal

I didn’t stay here, but it was on my shortlist, so I visited to see a room before booking. I didn’t like the room they showed me. It felt noisy, although I’d specifically asked for something quieter after reading the Google reviews. The uncle at reception seemed barely interested in turning a potential guest into a customer. I politely said we didn’t like the room and left, but he didn’t ask what was wrong, try to understand our concerns, or offer another option. That lack of interest and professionalism left a bad impression. Update: I got a response to my review, and honestly, it says a lot about how little interest they have in taking feedback or improving their service.

The rooms are noisy, and the staff are rude and indifferent. They don’t smile or care when you give them feedback, and they don’t seem interested in welcoming customers. The staff lack professionalism. Choosing this hotel was the worst decision we ever made. Trust the negative reviews, they’re true. Please don’t book here.

At bikala restaurant in Bikaner, I ordered rawa masala dosa and idli. Both were extremely unhygienic, and there was even a hair in the coconut chutney. Service was very poor too. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Hotel Bikalal is in a prime area of Bikaner, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The food and sweets are excellent in quality, taste, and price. Staff behaviour and service are really good too. Mr. Shyam from housekeeping was very polite and helpful in every way. I strongly recommend this hotel for a Bikaner tour.
