Hotel Shiva’s Regency

The location near the railway station was good, but the food quality was only average and the poha was very bad. At check-in I was told I’d get a tax invoice, but at checkout I received one for the room only, not the food. When I raised it, the staff were very rude. Their behavior was very bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for a business stay.

I really enjoyed dining at Hotel Shiva's Regency and will definitely come back.

I came here to rest for 4-6 hours. The room was clean and neat, and both cash and UPI payment were accepted. The owner seemed greedy to me: the charge felt very high for the time, and they charged for a water bottle they gave me at check-in. They also charge for a full day even if you stay only a few hours, so you need to negotiate. After checkout, the owner stalks you on social media. I think it’s famous because of OYO services. Food may be expensive given the place, so I’d eat nearby instead, at Ganesh hotel, 20-30 steps down the road in front of the building. They do take valid ID proof for verification.

The rooms are nice, but the toilets aren’t hygienic, staff behavior is poor, and room service is bad. If you’re strictly vegetarian, don’t stay here. They use one kitchen for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and serve beer and wine at the same tables where you’ll eat. Parking is also very poor. If you bring a car, you could be woken at midnight and asked to move it for someone else.
