Subham Residency by OYO Rooms

I ended up cancelling my booking after a very weird experience. I expected a female guest to visit so we could discuss her wedding, but the property staff insisted we sit in the cafe. When I refused, they asked for extra money so we could talk in my booked room. The owner kept making indirect comments that offended me, and the communication was poor. They seemed to be hinting that the visit was for personal pleasure rather than business, and I felt they were making things up to charge me more. Once I left, I realized many young couples visit this property, and it didn’t seem suited to me. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We arrived at midnight and still got such amazing service. The food was great, with lots of dishes and different rotis, including naan, tawa, and tandoori. Loved it, and thanks for the commendable service!

The staff were cooperative and ready to let us stay, but the owner overruled them and arrogantly refused our confirmed Goibibo booking, saying he would cancel it and that I should get a refund from Goibibo. That kind of management is really unprofessional and put us through unnecessary stress at the last minute. Goibibo support upgraded me to another hotel, thankfully. I’d avoid this property to prevent the same sort of problem.

We ended up with all five of us sleeping in one room. We’d booked two rooms, but one was okay and the other had a dead rat. When we asked to switch rooms, the manager refused, and he also wouldn’t give us a discount for being crowded into one room. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but it looked like none had been prepared, so we said we didn’t need it and left. The management needs to address this. Worst experience ever.
