The family were so helpful and welcoming, and I found their history and family photographs really interesting. We wished we could stay longer. Our room was clean, with air conditioning, a fan, plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good too, with tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, eggs and homemade jam from Kashmir. Such a lovely family-run place.
A peaceful spot just beyond Bikaner's busy center, with a decent, plain room. The included breakfast was basic, with bread, spreads, an omelette, a banana and tea or coffee. Service was pretty minimal too: nobody explained the Wi-Fi, breakfast arrangements or check-out. It works for a solo traveler or couple staying one night, especially on a tight budget, but I wouldn't choose it for several nights.
The staff were polite and helpful, and everything went smoothly during my visit. I felt at home thanks to the hospitality. Udai Niwas is clean, well cared for and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed staying there and would happily return on another trip to Bikaner.
We stayed one night and had a delicious breakfast the next morning, along with a generous dinner. The place felt like a home away from home. Udai Niwas is a boutique homestay, and its owners, Rishabh and Gayatri, have given the interiors a lovely, thoughtful look. Rishabh sir and the staff were very cordial.
A welcome change from the usual hotel stay. The homestay is conveniently placed near the city center but away from crowds and traffic noise. My family and I spent an evening and the night at Uday Niwas, and had a very pleasant time. The food was delicious and plentiful, while the ambience, hospitality and service reminded me of an Army mess. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something different.
