Zostel Kotgarh (Narkanda)

Clean, comfortable, well-kept rooms and dorms, plus helpful, welcoming staff. The common spaces have a lively feel, and the overall vibe is relaxed and social, good for groups or solo travelers. The property is especially good value: you get a cozy stay and scenic surroundings without spending too much. The mountain peaks and green valleys look breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.

We had a wonderful stay at Zostel Kotgarh. It was peaceful and a great place to relax and enjoy nature, with beautiful mountain views all around. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and clean, and the friendly, helpful staff made us feel at home. Highly recommend it if you're visiting Narkanda or Kotgarh.

The food needs a lot of work. The chapatis weren't made well, the noodles had too much pepper, and the omelette was very basic. The property is newly built and has the basic amenities, with the Zostel feel and activities like games, bonfires, and forest walks.

Urmi was volunteering at the Zostel when I visited Kotgarh, and meeting her made the stay memorable. She was warm and friendly. The location and ambience were beautiful, and the owners were kind and welcoming too. They treated me well and made me feel at home. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kotgarh.
