Hotel Galaxy Intercontinental

We had a good stay and would recommend the hotel for its quiet setting, friendly staff, and price. Mr.Dharmendra managed the hotel very well. There were only four of us guests, which may be why the staff were especially attentive. Breakfast was fresh, filling, and had enough variety for most people. Our spacious room was clean and airy, with a TV and a safe. The bathroom was also large and clean, though the towels looked worn and the soap and shampoo/conditioner were dispensed sparingly. The shower consistently gave us cold water.

During peak Prayag Mahakumbh season we stayed in a spacious, clean room on the first floor. There’s a lift, and the room had two single beds. A double bed plus a single would have suited us better. The bathroom was good, with hot water from a central geyser. The approach is narrow since the hotel is off the main road. It was okay overall.

The breakfast and dinner were included at a price I really didn't expect, and the rooms and service were good too. We had a very nice stay for the money. I'd recommend it for a family trip.

The rooms were large and well kept, though most of the power sockets didn't suit newer chargers. We booked 11 rooms, and water taps in many of them were blocked with little or no flow. Some guests told reception and had theirs fixed, while others didn't know and just managed with the problem. Besides those issues, things were good, but management should look after them. Finding the hotel was difficult because Google Maps showed it from the back, where there were no roads. A staff member came out and directed us to the main entrance, and I corrected the map location.
