The Bodhgaya Hotel School was beyond what I expected. It's also a hotel management training school for underprivileged youth, so guests get a comfortable stay while supporting the students' professional growth. Their trainees and staff were polite, attentive, and always smiling, and talking with the students gave the visit extra meaning. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and have basic toiletries, strong hot showers, and comfortable beds, about what I'd expect from a 4-star standard. The place is peaceful and around a 30-minute walk from Mahabodhi Temple, away from crowds but still accessible. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves tasty, homely food, though the menu is limited and prices can feel high, with omelets among the items I found pricey. For cleanliness, hospitality, and value, it was a 5/5 stay. Highly recommended if you want comfort and a purpose behind your stay in Bodh Gaya.

What stood out most was how friendly and polite everyone was. The staff are young trainees from the school, and they did their jobs sincerely, always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to them, and best wishes for their careers. The hotel is just behind the 80 ft Buddha statue. Our room was neat and clean, with excellent amenities, and the bathroom was spacious with hot and cold water available around the clock. The lift had a temporary problem, but it was fixed promptly. Breakfast was included, well prepared, and plentiful for us. Lunch and dinner cost extra and were available in the ground-floor restaurant or delivered to the room on request.

The meals were really well organized for our group of 40, and the staff were personable and accommodating. They took a genuine interest in each of our needs. Amazing service, and a great place to stay in Bodh Gaya.

The food was delicious and available right at the hotel, and they gave us free Bisleri water. The place was very clean, the service was good, and the staff were polite. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Bodhgaya.

The students were quick to help and serve, and their smiles when they brought our food made me so happy. They went out of their way to make our stay great. You don't often get that kind of kindness in a hotel restaurant, and I'll miss their hospitality. I hope future travelers consider staying here, the people working there really care about you. And don't forget to buy the table clothes and pillow cases. The local women make them beautifully ❤️
