Oyo customer care assured me they’d spoken with the property manager and confirmed this wouldn’t happen. But when I called the manager minutes later, he said no such conversation had taken place and that they had ended their tie-up with Oyo. My booking had already been paid for, yet the hotel cancelled it and refused to refund the money. Don’t book this hotel through Oyo.

Adorini maa is in a peaceful, pollution-free spot, just a two-minute walk from Prantik station. The owner is gentle and generous, and the staff are polite and well behaved. It feels like a perfect homestay for families and couples. If you’re Bengali and interested in learning about your culture, give it a visit.

The room was good and the bathroom clean, but the geyser didn’t work. Room service was very lazy.

The staff and owner were cooperative and spoke very gently, but the rooms felt too small. The AC and geyser wouldn’t run together, and a leaking swimming pool left the dining area wet. Food needs to be ordered at least 12 hours ahead. If you want something special at night, they need to know by morning. We ordered katla macher jhol in the late afternoon and couldn’t enjoy it because of that.

We’d paid online, but they wouldn’t let us stay and said no single room was available. At the same time, we saw an unmarried couple there with no booking or advance payment. Their behavior toward us was very rude, and they didn’t refund our postpaid booking payment. From what we saw, this hotel seems to accept local boyfriends and girlfriends without postpaid payment, but it isn’t suitable for families.
