Hotel Magnet House

The owner was welcoming and polite, and the price was affordable. After a discount, I paid ₹3500 for two rooms, one AC room for three people and one non-AC room. The location was convenient for my visit to UPES Dehradun, especially for parents visiting the university. Still, the room cleanliness didn’t quite match the price, and the manager’s behavior disappointed me. The place has potential and offers value for money, but the hygiene and overall ambience need improvement.

For a visit to the IMA (Indian Military Academy), the Magnet Hotel Dehradun in Premnagar is ideally placed, close enough for easy access while still quiet and relaxing. The staff were attentive and professional, and check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The restaurant was great, and the food was superb. Rooms were spacious, modern, and well maintained, in keeping with their 4-star status, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. It exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Magnet house for a comfortable, reliable, premium stay near the IMA or Premnagar.

From the friendly welcome at check-in to the personal touches in our room, the staff made us feel looked after throughout the stay. Everyone was incredibly helpful. This hotel really goes above and beyond, and I highly recommend it!

The staff at Hotel Magnet House were professional and made sure I had what I needed throughout my work trip. My room was neat, and getting around from the location was convenient. I’d happily stay there again.
