Hotel Vinayak Bhavan

We booked Vinayak Bhavan with my family after reading the reviews, but I came away thinking the reviews might be paid and the photos looked fake. The rooms stank, so we had to ask for an air freshener, and the service was poor. Even for a towel or chair, we waited at least 30 minutes. The breakfast was served in a way that put us off eating it. The TV and room phone didn’t work, the paint was peeling, the lights were dim, and the bed linens were dirty. It was our worst stay in years, and a terrible night overall. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m attaching photos for reference.

There’s no food available and no elevator, but the central market location is handy. The rooms were comfortable and the service covered the basics. A decent place if all you need is somewhere to sleep.

The staff behaved well, and the service was good. The rooms were nice and clean.

We stayed one day at Vinayak Bhawan, Behrampur. They welcomed us even though we checked in late at night, but the location is only average and it’s quite far from the Railway Station. The rooms are small, though manageable for a couple, and neat but not especially clean. If looks and aesthetics matter a lot to you, I’d avoid it. It may suit you if average looks are fine and you only need a place to stay. The branch manager was understanding and supportive. Check-in and check-out took much longer than necessary, which would be a real problem if you’re in a hurry. They checked even a government-issued Aadhaar as if it were fake, which felt irritating. The customer service wasn’t good, and I hope they improve it. Underground parking is available, but getting bikes out takes care because the way is narrow and slippery. An average stay.
