Hotel Idyllic Inn

Two days after we checked out, the cops called to say we hadn't paid in full. We had paid, or how would we have checked out and left? When we asked about it, the hotel admitted there was an error in its own record system. They filed a complaint without checking the information first and put the customer's reputation at risk. The staff were arrogant, rude, and highly unprofessional. This was a disgusting experience, and the property and its staff are an insult to the hospitality sector. Shame.

The entry has stairs, so wheelchair users can't access the hotel. Otherwise, it was nice: easy to find, with a restaurant and parking on site. The room had an electric kettle, and the room and linen were clean.

We liked the hotel's very nice ambience and hospitality, and we're ready for another trip.

The building is lovely, and the rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed. The service, though, was really poor. It felt like they didn't have enough staff. We were told breakfast would be ready at 7 or 8, but even by 8:30 the food wasn't prepared. I expected better hospitality from such a beautiful hotel.
