The staff were helpful, the room was spacious, and the hotel is easy to reach, right beside the KSRTC bus stand. They also rent vehicles, which is convenient. Cleanliness and hygiene could be better for the price. The mattress cover and towels looked quite old even though they were washed. The bathroom itself was clean, but lots of flies were sitting on the tiles. Service and hygiene both need improvement.

This is actually Doha King, which seems to have a tie-up with Treebo. I trusted the Treebo name when booking, but had a poor experience. The sheets weren’t clean, water seepage was visible on the walls, and the room looked badly maintained. Its only advantage is being very close to the Madikeri bus stand. Apart from that location, nothing justifies the price. In my view it’s worth no more than ₹500 per night.

The staff were professional and helpful, and our rooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were new and spotless, with hot water available 24 hours. We enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast on the top floor, which had nice views. It’s handy to both the town centre and bus stand. A good place to stay.

We booked a deluxe room with complimentary breakfast, but the bed spreads needed changing when we arrived. The hotel wasn’t full, so they cancelled the buffet and served only idly, vada and kesarbath for all three days. When I asked, he said that was all they could offer since it was complimentary. I think he understood complimentary to mean free food. They did basic cleaning after we insisted, and that’s mainly why I’m giving three stars. Average experience, and I’d keep this as a last option. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The room at Doha king was clean, hygienic and well maintained, and staff responded quickly when we needed anything. The complimentary breakfast, though, was very poor. It came from another hotel, tasted extremely salty and watery, and didn’t meet expectations.
