Nirmalya plaza

I’ve been staying here on my annual trip home for 6 years, and the staff still give me the same warm welcome. Their behaviour is a big part of why I choose Nirmalya plaza. It’s right by NH 16, with cozy, budget-friendly AC rooms, and the staff are courteous and helpful.

I only needed somewhere to sleep on my way South, and even that was a rough experience. The room had peeling paint, dirt and mould everywhere, the bathroom was disgusting, and the dark linens made it hard to see how filthy they were. Check-in was horrible: they first refused me, then, after I called OYO and they offered another place, the receptionist agreed to give me a room when he realized I might leave. There wasn’t even a key for the room, so I couldn’t leave valuables there. Just look at the photos. I strongly advise against staying here, it’s not worth it. Hope this helps 🙏

The rooms weren’t tidy, and the bathroom was covered in guthka stains. The dustbins were full of used condoms that looked like they hadn’t been emptied for days. The manager was arrogant, and people at the counter were using slang over the phone in front of guests. They didn’t provide water either. The price was 1300/-, though OLA showed 900/-.

It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I booked through MakeMyTrip or a similar portal, but they wouldn’t accept the reservation. Even though I’d paid online, they asked me to pay again at the hotel. Frustrating and dumb.
