Hotel Manvin's Inn

We spent 7 nights here for our year-end holiday in Goa and enjoyed it. The hotel is family friendly, and most of the lively places are nearby. The area around the hotel and the roads were clean and hygienic. The owner and Manager Prabhakar are gentle and kind, and really look after you like family. A good place to stay in Calangute.

We've stayed here twice in a year, mainly because of the pool, which is a good attraction. It's close to the beaches, so we could explore nearby at night, and essentials are easy to find within 1-2 km. The rooms feel suffocating because there's no ventilation, and the TV and AC aren't maintained very well. The rooms are comparatively expensive, but I'd still stay for the pool. A good experience if you're looking for a pool and somewhere to relax.

The place was hard to reach, with no parking for cars or even two-wheelers. We left our car about half a kilometer away. The pool was kept closed, and when it did open we were allowed just half an hour to swim. Bathrooms were very dirty, and even with empty rooms, they delayed giving us one because we booked through Oyo. One person was kind, but that was lost in the owner’s and staff’s extremely rude behavior, including the owner’s use of abusive language. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. Booking without knowing about the place was a mistake, and I’d strongly suggest avoiding it so you don’t lose your time and money.

The pool on the first floor was attractive, and the staff were friendly. We stayed for two days and liked the breakfast. Weekend rates are higher, but seemed reasonable since the beach, restaurants, and shops are nearby.
