The dining was good, with tasty food served in a clean, hygienic environment. Shankar Bhavan, Brahmapur is centrally located, so getting around the city is convenient. The rooms have been refurbished recently, and the lift is well maintained. There's no dedicated car parking, though outdoor parking is manageable. A reliable, pleasant place for both a stay and a meal in Brahmapur.

The hotel is in a great location and the overall ambience is quite good, but the rooms are a letdown. At ₹2,000, the single room feels cramped and far smaller than the claimed 130 sqft. Water also drips constantly from the AC, and the room isn't well maintained. They don't offer 24-hour checkout, unlike most hotels in the city. Poor value despite the location.

Only the room interiors felt luxurious. The hotel is overpriced and, honestly, not worth it, better to avoid. My staff experience was very poor, and there was lots of noise outside the room from staff and workers. I booked a Double Deluxe through Goibibo for 9 hours, but they said the limit was 7 hours, then downgraded me to a Single Classic without telling me while charging the same price. Online date changes and cancellations aren't available either.

We booked three premium deluxe rooms for our family of seven. The rooms were alright and reasonably clean, though the sheets, while clean, were old and frayed. Staff were friendly, but check-in took a long time. The hotel is centrally located and recently renovated. There is no parking for a four-wheeler, but street parking was available along Ramlinga Tank. We didn't eat there, though locals said the food is good, and there are plenty of eateries nearby.
