It’s easy to explore Bundi from here: the property sits beside Nawal Sagar lake, with access from both the outer roads and market routes. Modern cafes and the iconic street market are within walking distance, so it’s a good way to get to know the town and its people. The rooms look out over the lake, and the cultural touches in the design feel just right. Mr and Mrs Puri, who run the property with the Goswami Parivar, were thoughtful hosts and paid attention to the little things that make a stay feel special.

The food alone makes this place worth a visit. I tried several restaurants and hotels on my trips, and this one served the most delicious meals. The lady owner has magic in her hands. Rooms are good value and better than many of the pricier hotels here, though don’t expect luxury or a Jacuzzi. The views are lovely, the owners are respectful and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well lit. I don’t think you’ll regret staying, especially after trying the food.

Anpurna Haveli Bundi has a peaceful, warm feel, and the owner’s humble, kind welcome made the stay memorable. I’d recommend visiting when you travel to Bundi.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious, like something made at home. My room was clean and tidy, with a lovely view of Nawal Sagar Lake. For such a nice location, the price is very affordable. A perfect stay in Bundi.
