The rooftop restaurant has a lovely view of the palace, especially after dark, and the place gets peaceful in the evenings and overnight. We were there for our Wedding Anniversary, and the owner arranged flowers for us. She and her team were so helpful. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, though not especially large. The Bundi Inn Haveli sits beside the palace on a busy street in the city center, so there’s plenty happening outside during the day. We’re glad to recommend it.

The rooftop dining space is the standout, with beautiful views across Bundi and Taragarh Fort Palace lit up at night. The old haveli has a rustic feel, but it’s on the first floor and there’s no lift, which may be difficult for older guests or wheelchair users. It’s a good fit if you want a break from modern distractions. Our Double Deluxe Room was smaller than we expected. It was tidy, nicely decorated, and had character from the heavy wooden doors. We had a kettle, tea and coffee sachets, bottled water, and AC, but no TV or mini-bar. The windows didn’t block noise, and street processions with loud music after 10:45 p.m. made it hard to sleep. Wi-Fi was too weak for remote work. The bathroom was clean and had soap and shampoo dispensers, a geyser for hot showers, bath towels, and a face towel. It could use a bit more upkeep, like clearing cobwebs, and the missing hand spray was inconvenient. The bathroom door was awkward to use and could disturb someone resting; the sink tap also moved when opened or closed. Hooks and hangers for clothes, a toothbrush holder, a towel hanger, a room dustbin, and an intercom would all be useful. Breakfast was limited but freshly made and tasty, with eggs, pancakes, toast, cut fruit, and tea or coffee. Dinner is made to order. We had Butter Chicken with jeera rice. The rice was flavorful, but the curry tasted more like regular chicken curry, and the portion seemed small for the price. The staff were polite, courteous, and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Food service was a little slow, though understandable since one person was handling it. There’s no dedicated parking, so guests need to look for a nearby spot and plan ahead. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the warm hospitality, though the value for money could be better.

The restaurant view was unforgettable, especially at night with the fort all lit up, and Buddi’s cooking and hospitality gave us the best meal of our trip. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, with great recommendations. We loved our stay in Bundi too. It’s a calm town full of welcoming, kind people. Thanks for everything, we hope to return someday.🙏🏻

The two young men handled everything, from check-in to cooking and serving, and really made our day. The food was excellent, and we had great views from both our room and the restaurant. The hotel is right beside the fort, an excellent location, and we were lucky to find parking across the street since the old lanes are narrow. Bundi itself was very disappointing for us. There was filth, garbage, and cow dung everywhere, making it hard to walk around. The heritage sites, including the Kunds and fort, were shabby. One suggestion for the owners: the woman at reception could be warmer and more welcoming to paying guests.

The rooftop restaurant served tasty, healthy food, and the clean, well-kept rooms had the modern facilities we needed, including Wi-Fi. Staying at Haveli Bundi Inn felt like stepping into a royal era, while still being rooted in local culture. It’s worth the money whether you’re traveling for work or leisure. I’d highly recommend booking a room here and experiencing it. :)
