I wouldn't recommend this place after what I saw. The property felt gloomy, unwelcoming, and poorly maintained from the moment I arrived. The owner seemed irritated a lot of the time and more interested in arguing than helping guests. A few days ago I personally saw him get into a heated argument about parking, shouting and using abusive language. He also made negative remarks about visitors from Maharashtra and Karnataka, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional to hear in front of guests, especially since many of his customers seem to come from those states. From what I observed, it didn't seem like a one-off, and I've heard similar complaints from others. For a peaceful trip, I'd suggest spending 500 more on another option instead of risking an unpleasant experience that could spoil your stay.

The room was spacious, with a small refrigerator, and the washroom was clean. The location in the market is about 1km from the beach. Service was good, and they also arranged a scooty for rent from Chandu uncle. There were some downsides: they wouldn't provide double bed blankets when we asked, and there were no mosquito repellents. We were advised to keep the windows and bathroom door shut all the time. On checkout day, they rushed us to leave on time without much courtesy. All in all, it was a decent stay.

We stayed three nights in room 102 at albenjoh 3 guest house, in a family room without AC. It was really nice and big, with a gallery and good sunlight. We then spent one night in the AC room on the upper floor by reception. It had less sunlight, and we felt uncomfortable there. Calangute beach and the market are just 5-10 minutes away. Laxman, one of their staff, was very helpful and always smiling. I really liked that. The owner was good too, never rude. On our last day, when our car stopped in front of the gate for a while, he came out himself to check what was wrong.

The comfort triple AC room was clean and nice, including the bathroom, and we had a great four-night stay. The guest house is on the Calanguete Baga road and only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. There are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get a meal even around midnight. The owner and staff were both helpful and nice, including with hiring a bike. We'd definitely plan to come back. Thanks.

The place is surrounded by greenery, with a nice, cool-looking structure, and the rooms are quite large. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk away. Laxman, the service boy, was helpful. We had a few problems, though. There were lots of mosquitoes even during the day, and even with the mosquito net we brought, they were hard to deal with. We chose an AC room, but the AC didn't work properly, so we ended up not using it. There are no geysers; we were told the water was solar heated, but we didn't get hot water any day. Overall, the experience was okay.
