The morning left us deeply disappointed. Our package included breakfast, and we understood that a buffet might not be set up for just three guests. We accepted that. But my son had severe leg cramps, so I asked if breakfast could be brought to our room. We were bluntly told no and told to carry it ourselves. Some staff, especially someone from the kitchen possibly named Alexa/Alex and the female receptionist, came across as arrogant and insensitive, with little basic courtesy or empathy. The night before, staff had promptly arranged an extra mattress before we went to a party and brought a broom when we asked to clean the room, so we’d felt the service was decent. That earlier help made the contrast even more striking. We’d stayed recently at Calangwood Grand, Goa, and this response in a genuine situation overshadowed the rest of the experience. Hospitality needs consistency, understanding, and respect, and this was simply unacceptable.

By the Grace of God, we had a nice stay at Calangute Grande hotel. The service was fantastic, and we recommend it for a pleasant stay.

It felt like a lovely stay at home. The staff were cooperative, and Naushad bhai is a lovely person.

We expected better for the price. The location is very congested, with no good view around. Inside, the room felt uncomfortable because it wasn’t very clean, there was a noticeable smell, and the bedsheets didn’t seem fresh. Breakfast was disappointing too, with few choices and only average quality. A below average experience overall.
