Fabhotel King S Court

On the second night, we came back to find our room had been cleaned without anyone telling us. Staff had entered with a master key without permission. That’s a serious breach of privacy. When we complained, all we got was a casual “sorry.” Earlier that day the hot water stopped, then the regular water did too. The tank was empty, and we waited over an hour. At check-in on day one, the washroom jet spray wasn’t working. It took staff almost two hours to fix it, and the TV remote was broken too. On day three the jet spray broke again and stayed that way until checkout. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. The room wasn’t properly checked before it was assigned, and the hotel seems to deal with procedures only when convenient while ignoring guest problems. I can’t recommend booking or referring FabHotel, the kings court Goa.

I arrived to check in at 8 pm, and only then they suddenly said there were no rooms. They also claimed they had no tie-up with Fab. It took a lot of drama to get anything sorted. I’d booked three suite rooms, but they gave us just two, and those were under maintenance. The staff were very unprofessional. Be careful when booking Fab rooms.

The room and its facilities were materially different from what Make My Trip advertised. I’ve already sent photos and video showing the room and the missing amenities in earlier emails, and complained to Make My Trip requesting a full refund. They also denied the complimentary evening high tea and minibar, despite both being listed along with other amenities that weren’t there. I reported this immediately. MMT support asked me to allow 48 hours, but that was two days ago and there’s still been no resolution. I had to stay in the substandard room while waiting, under protest and only because support told me to wait. I called three times that day as well as sending email reminders, but the promised timeline passed without a solution. Since the services didn’t match the listing and the issue wasn’t resolved, I believe I’m legally entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. I’m issuing this notice requesting that my refund be processed within the stipulated time. I have complete documentation.

The room itself was good, but it hadn’t been cleaned and the property wasn’t well maintained. We stayed four days and had no hot water on any of them. One day, there was no water at all. The food was okay, though service took far too long. I’d rate it 2.5 out of 5.
