The landlord and staff are good people, and I felt it was totally fine for women to stay there on their own. Staff kept the place clean, and the air-conditioned rooms are very reasonably priced. If you don't expect high-end, five-star accommodation, it's a good fit. It's in a touristy area. The biggest downside is that pets aren't allowed.

The people at Diego Villa were helpful and made us feel at home. The owners were wonderful, and room service was excellent and polite. It felt very safe for families, couples, and friends. We loved staying here. Kudos to everyone there, and I hope they keep up the good work!

The first day the AC didn't work. On the second day they changed our room, but the toilet jet spray and door lock didn't work there either. Worst of all, they gave us two single beds for a couple. It might be okay if you're with friends, but not ideal for couples or foreigners. There are much better places nearby at the same price of 1500/-.

The room and bathroom were a good size, and the location worked really well. The new staff are very sincere, and Ria Pinta deserves credit for keeping things running smoothly. There are a few small maintenance problems that should be dealt with, especially before peak season. We had a great time at Diego Villa, as we do on our annual visit.
