Lillywoods NV beach Resort

The beachside location was lovely, with parking available and spacious rooms. I stayed at both properties, NV and ZAC, and liked their white aesthetic interiors. The staff were very helpful: when I lost my keys at night, they assisted me, and they moved me to a balcony room without any fuss. Breakfast in the morning was the best part, right by the beach with white interiors and the sound of waves ❤️ My only issue was the washroom. It wasn’t properly clean, and the bathtub was rusty. They should focus on renovating the bathrooms. Everything else was good.

Being close to the beach is the one thing this place has going for it. The layout is poorly planned, with narrow, uncomfortable walkways to the rooms. The rooms are average at best, and the bathrooms are badly maintained and below standard. Staff seemed indifferent to guests, were unhelpful and unresponsive, and often wouldn’t handle basic requests. This is a place I’d avoid.

The online photos were misleading, and the rooms felt shady. Getting to the property was already unpleasant: narrow streets, no vehicle access by road, then a five-minute walk through bushes on the beach beside shoddy huts. Five stray dogs charged at me on the way to my room. I later found out they were protecting the property owner, who lives behind or around the property. Residents had clothes drying on balconies, and they weren’t beach clothes. It felt like a shanty town run by a mafia. Everything else was booked for Christmas, so we ended up at Hard Rock later and had to pay a hefty amount. We’d made the reservation through a travel agent in New Delhi, who refused a refund and then stopped answering our calls altogether. A total scam. See attached photos.

The location is the only plus, just 140m from the beach. The lavish photos are misleading. We had cockroaches in our unhygienic room, the staff were unfriendly, and basic amenities were missing. The bathroom tap didn’t work, and despite repeated follow-ups, they fixed it only after 1.5 days. There was no hot water, so they gave us a heating coil, which felt very unsafe. They wouldn’t let us park our two-wheeler on the premises and told us to leave it on a road barely 15ft wide. We spoke with other guests who had similar problems. When we asked to cancel the rest of our stay and get a refund, they arrogantly told us to contact Agoda, where we’d booked. They completely ruined my vacation.
