If you’re spending most of your time out exploring Goa and just want somewhere decent to rest, the average, fairly basic rooms are clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. Hotel Purushottam Residency is right by Calangute Beach, so beach walks and sunset trips are easy. Its low price is the main draw, and it’s a handy, affordable option for groups or budget travelers. Good value for the location.

It’s a budget friendly hotel with car parking, soap, towels, and hotel water available. The beach is 25 metres away, and the employees and room service were good. Pintu was especially friendly and helped us figure out places to explore. He also arranged a bike and food for my small baby.

The rooms and other facilities were okay for the price, and it was a peaceful place to stay on a budget. The location is excellent, with the beach, market, and bus stand all within walking distance. The staff behaved really well and helped by suggesting bus and car trips at reasonable prices. We had an excellent experience.

The staff were good and it’s near the beach, but the bed sheets were torn and I found some termites in the bed. Could have been better.

It’s an easy walk to the beach, and the rooms were neat and clean. They have AC rooms and rental bikes, but don’t order from the hotel restaurant. The food there is horrible.
