The best thing here is the location, just a two-minute walk from Calangute Beach. But we had a two-day stay full of room and service problems. On day one, our AC didn’t work. After checking it, a staff member at reception asked us to manage for the day and said the room would be changed the next day. The Android TV also wouldn’t work because the hotel Wi-Fi was down, and staff said the network problem had started the day before. The washroom was extremely dirty, and the shower leaked constantly, leaving the floor and walls wet. The next day, we were moved to another room, but its TV screen was broken. Staff said they’d replace it. When I reminded them the Wi-Fi still wasn’t working, they offered a regular TV instead of an Android one. It was eventually replaced, but only had free channels such as Doordarshan, DD Metro, a few news channels, and some devotional channels. The second washroom was just as dirty, although at least its shower didn’t leak. The room had a breakfast menu listing different items for each day, but on the first morning we were told there were only three choices: Aloo Paratha with curd and pickle, bread with jam, or butter toast. We ordered Aloo Paratha, which came with curd but no pickle. When I asked, staff said they had run out and couldn’t buy any the previous day. The paratha itself was good, so we ate it with curd. The next morning we were offered the same options. Staff said the chef had left, so only those items were available, and we ordered Aloo Paratha again.
