Rahi Coral Beach Resort

At Rahi Coral the staff were cooperative and supportive, breakfast was good, and the room was cleaned daily. I did notice a few small cockroaches, so pest control could be better. Still, I had a good experience.

The housekeeping team was the best part of the resort. They were ready to help whenever we raised an issue. Breakfast had plenty of options, including egg bhurji, poha, idli, cornflakes, fruit, bread, and butter. You’ll need to park at a nearby Pay and Park, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. There are several veg and non-veg restaurants on both sides of the resort. The room looked tidy at first, but there were cockroaches in it, despite housekeeping saying every room gets pest control every three days. We also found cockroaches, earthworms, and millipedes in the bathroom. The geyser switch was exposed, which felt like an accident waiting to happen. Our room had a double bed and a sofa-cum-bed. The sofa bed was uneven and uncomfortable for a child, so we had to ask for extra blankets to even it out.

We were stuck here because we’d paid the full amount in advance. The two nights were awful: the rooms weren’t hygienic, we had to move between rooms, and there were cockroaches and bedbugs. There was also a drainage leak right above the area in front of our room door.

The staff behaved well, which was the best part for me. The property has clean rooms, a restaurant, a swimming pool, and all the facilities. I had a nice stay and think it’s worth trying once.
