Royal Mirage Boutique Hotel by Fab Hotels

This was the first scam we ran into on our Goa trip. The property looks inside like an old, run-down bungalow, nothing like the photos online, which I found completely misleading. I believe all the positive reviews are fake, and the same property is listed under two different names to fool customers. On 29th Nov 2025, we spoke with someone who called himself Rajiv and said he was the manager. He told us to arrive at midnight and book directly. When we got there, his phone was switched off, and a random person appeared asking for extra money. We ignored the one negative review, and that was our mistake. If you think I’m exaggerating, visit the place yourself and then come back and tell the truth.

We stayed for two nights and had a terrible experience. The manager wouldn’t answer calls, and the staff weren’t proper. The lift and intercom didn’t work, there was no hot water in the bathroom or water bottle in the room, and we got no breakfast even though I booked with BF. Outside food wasn’t allowed. If you wanted to bring any in, you had to hide it in your bags to take it to your room. The pool was untidy and smelled so bad, like a drain, that you couldn’t go near it. The rooms weren’t painted properly either. Staff said that if the owner paid salaries properly or provided money for groceries, they would serve breakfast. They also said the owner didn’t care about the staff or guests. Don’t trust the existing reviews or choose this hotel. Don’t ruin your holiday here. Photos are attached for reference.

We had a peaceful, happy and relaxing stay. The hotel was neat, clean, and hygienic, and the manager and staff were very friendly. It’s close to several beaches and street shopping, with some very good vegetarian restaurants nearby. A nice place for families and friends. ☺️😊

We got a large suite, but water from the drain flooded the toilet floor. They didn’t provide dental supplies and refused when we asked. The AC remote didn’t work properly, and we were told to manage the temperature by switching the AC off and turning it on again. The hotel is down a very narrow road, which a big car will struggle to enter, and there’s no parking.
