The rooms were in terrible shape, and the cleaning was just as bad. They don’t change the stained bedding every day, the balcony never gets cleaned, and the cleaner washes the tea and water glasses in the bathroom instead of replacing them. The pool was awful too. I couldn’t bring myself to use it after the first time, and although they say it’s cleaned daily, it doesn’t look that way. Breakfast is the same every morning, with sambar in the meal each day, and it’s really bad to eat. Basic tea costs a lot, but it’s powdered and has no flavour. Tea lovers will hate it if they try it. I’d tell people to skip this hotel and spend more for a good one.

I found Sharnam Green Resort in Calangute peaceful despite being close to the beach area, away from the heavy crowd noise. The room was spacious, clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, a hygienic washroom and the basic amenities arranged properly. Housekeeping was prompt, and I liked the balcony view and the greenery around the property. The buffet had a nice range of veg and non-veg dishes, and the food tasted good. Breakfast items were fresh, while dinner came with several main course choices and desserts. Food quality and hygiene seemed properly maintained. Staff were polite, helpful and responsive, and check-in and check-out were smooth. It was a relaxing stay, and I’d consider it for a family trip or weekend getaway.

Our room was a delight, mixing comfort with an elegant, modern feel. We had an unforgettable visit and are looking forward to coming back.

The staff were polite, service was good, and the toiletries were good quality. Restaurants and shops were easy to reach from the hotel, and the beach was within walking distance, so it felt worth the price. The bathroom did smell because of the drainage. It seemed the sewer water had to be taken away by tanker, and there was some delay.
