The Baga Marina Beach Resort & Hotel

I called the hotel to ask about a possible office outing in Goa because some details weren't on the website. The staff member who answered was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me to check the website when I asked for more information. I explained politely that I'd already looked and was calling because the specific details I needed weren't there. She replied, "Then what is the use of the website if you have to call me?" in a dismissive tone, then abruptly hung up. A call like this leaves a very negative first impression. If genuine questions aren't answered courteously, it raises concerns about the service guests might receive during a stay. I hope management addresses this and gives staff proper customer service training.

The food was really tasty and there was almost everything available. Our room was super clean and refreshing, and I absolutely loved its green walls. They gave it such a cute vibe. The staff were so kind, especially the receptionists, who were humble and soft spoken. They understood our difficulties and guided us through the vacation. Worth every penny.

The location made getting around easy: Baga Beach and Tito’s Lane are literally a 5-minute walk away, so there's nightlife and beach shacks without a long commute. At the same time, the resort felt like a peaceful place to retreat after the action. The courtyard pool is the heart of the property, well maintained, and a lovely tropical backdrop. A cocktail at the poolside bar at sunset became a daily highlight. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice private balcony overlooking the pool. The AC worked perfectly, which matters in Goa, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a day of exploring. Café Baga's breakfast spread was impressive, with Indian and Continental choices. Don't miss the local Goan delicacies. The Baga Marina Beach Resort was the highlight of my Goa trip, with great vibes and exceptional service.

The room was filthy, and insects covered the beds. It was completely unacceptable, so we left within minutes. The hotel still refused to refund us. Basic cleanliness is the bare minimum. Avoid.
