Ticlo Resort

Calangute market and the shopping areas are close by, which made the location very convenient. We stayed at Ticlo Resort as a family and found the room spacious and clean. For the price, the facilities were good, and we had a very good experience. I’d recommend it for a family stay.

The room was clean, cosy, and welcoming, and the food was fresh and delicious. There was a lovely choice of dishes at both the buffet and restaurant. From the start, service was efficient and friendly, and the staff were respectful and clearly knew their work. We highly recommend staying here for a memorable experience.

On the night of 24th May 2026, a friend of ours suffered an electric shock near the swimming pool, apparently because of unsafe electrical conditions at the property. We had to arrange an ambulance ourselves and take our injured friend to hospital. The hotel management provided no proper emergency support. When we asked the staff to cut the electricity and help, they acted irresponsibly and even laughed at us. The situation was chaotic and stressful, and the staff were unprofessional, insensitive, and threatening throughout. We were left traumatised and felt unsafe. Guest safety, especially near pools and electrical areas, should be a resort’s priority. This property failed in that responsibility. Please don’t come here. Your child’s, friend’s, and family’s safety is your responsibility, not the hotel’s.

The best thing about the property is its location at Calangute market. We stayed four days, from 18th feb'26 to 22nd feb'26, and the friendly staff gave us a free early check-in. At reception, they helped us arrange a scooty rental, a casino cruise discount booking, and an airport taxi. There’s good parking for scooties, breakfast was good, and the pool is great, with a separate one for kids. Everything else was good too, though the building could use a little paint.
