Hyatt Place Candolim GOA

A big thanks to wasim and subham for the delicious food and amazing service. They were kind, attentive, and welcoming, and made our stay more enjoyable. The kitchen team were polite and hardworking throughout, always serving food with a smile. The chefs and staff took great care of us and made us feel comfortable. We really appreciated their effort, kindness, and hospitality.

The food was very good, with lots of options and great taste, and the hotel was well maintained with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to help, making the whole stay smooth and comfortable. Monu and Wasim deserve a special mention for their hospitality and support. I had a satisfying stay and would recommend it.

We spent three nights and four days at Hyatt Place Candolim for my son’s first birthday. They made the occasion feel special with a complimentary cake and simple room decorations that looked lovely. The baby play area was a highlight for my little one, and we also enjoyed the pool. The hotel felt relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were warm, helpful, and ready to assist. Its close to the beach location made getting around convenient. Breakfast was a little disappointing and could have had a wider selection. The property also doesn’t currently offer spa services. Still, it was a pleasant family stay.

The damaged flooring was the first thing that made this four-day stay feel far below the five-star luxury I expected from the Hyatt name. The wood-effect floor had several large gaps between the planks, and we showed photos of it again to the front office manager at checkout. It spoiled the experience. Check-in itself was smooth, and the welcome drinks were a nice touch. We were three guests and asked for an extra towel on our second evening. The one delivered had a visible 3-to-4-inch tear. We thought it might be a one-off, but the towel we requested the next evening had noticeable stains. Damaged and soiled linens aren’t acceptable at any hotel, especially one presented as a luxury brand. Housekeeping did respond quickly to our requests, and we appreciated the birthday cake from the team, but the items they brought were still substandard. We raised the issues with the staff member asking for feedback at our first breakfast. We expected some acknowledgement or follow-up from a manager, but nobody came to speak with us. It felt like our concerns were ignored. I feel I chose the wrong hotel. For this price, I expected five-star quality and care, and the stay lacked both. I’d think twice before booking again if looking for a true luxury experience.
