Lakeside Suites

We spent five days here and had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean and good value. It’s right opposite Manipal Hospital, though Ola drivers can have trouble finding it, so Google Maps comes in handy. The staff deserve special credit: they arranged a basic breakfast for us at 6 AM, even though the usual breakfast time starts at 8. Breakfast was good, and the early service was thoughtful. For longer stays, the fridge, microwave and kitchenette services are convenient if you want to prepare light meals. There’s also a cloth-drying area, and my kid loved the mini library and games. The lift made handling luggage easy, and I’d suggest a second or third-floor room for a better view. A comfortable, affordable option in the Kali Ghat area with friendly staff and useful facilities. 👍

We were at Lakeside Suites for a week for a family wedding, and the meals were a real highlight: generous portions, good quality, and everything tasted great. The breakfast buffet was especially good. The rooms, common hall, kitchen, and bathrooms were cleaned every day, and the kitchen dishes were washed twice daily. Requests for lunch, dinner, or tea were handled promptly. A good choice if you want an easy, hassle-free stay.

The location made getting around easy, with the lakes, restaurants, and cafes all within walking distance, plus Uber and regular taxis available around the clock. Even though Lakeside Suites is close to the Dhakuria flyover, my room stayed quiet. It was clean, the attached bathroom was clean too, and housekeeping came regularly. Mr. Manoj Jain and his team were welcoming and helpful throughout my eight days. Breakfast was good, with different items each day. I enjoyed the stay and would book again when I’m in Kolkata.

Getting cabs and going to nearby places was easy from the spot right on the main road. I stayed at lakeside suites for three nights after seeing the reviews, and it was worth it. The rooms were neat, clean, and had all the amenities. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I’d recommend it for a visit to kolkata.
