Serenity by the Sea Beach Resort

I first stayed here with friends in September 2024, and after such a good visit I came back with my family for eight days. It turned out to be a great decision. The staff were helpful and polite, the rooms clean, and the property well maintained. The swimming pool was clean, with sunbeds, and cleaned daily. We also liked the in-house restaurant, especially the good food and excellent milk coffee. The atmosphere was peaceful, with a mix of families and foreign tourists. The resort is on the main road, close to Candolim Beach, Sinquerim Beach, and Fort Aguada. Restaurants, scooter rentals, supermarkets, and cafes are all within walking distance, so the location is very convenient. Candolim is a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly area in Goa, more reasonably priced than Baga or Calangute, with a better market and quieter surroundings than more northern spots like Morjim. Room prices vary by season, so I suggest calling the resort directly to check, though it remains budget-friendly. I’d rate the resort 4.5/5, but for the experience and value for money I’m giving it five stars. Thanks to the whole team for making us comfortable. I’ll surely return.

We’re coming back to Serenity by the sea. We stayed for three weeks last year, from 19/11/25, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and cleaned daily. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and the food at the attached Horizon Grill is very good. Bars and restaurants are nearby too, an easy walk away. We’d recommend this place to anyone after a relaxing holiday with nightlife just around the corner. Five stars from us. See you soon.

For the price, this is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is nicely maintained, and the restaurant that goes with it is quite good. I highly recommend Serenity by the Sea Resort.

Just a day in, but my first impression is a definite yes, I’d stay again. We were booked room only, but they gave us complimentary breakfast, just toast and a hot drink, which was a nice touch. The rooms are set around the lovely pool. The TV is about 50 inches, has Wi-Fi, and you can log into Netflix without needing a Fire Stick. There’s air con, a fan, and a fridge. Ruffles, the bistro yum, a shop, and money exchange are nearby, and the beach is a two minute walk away. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were lovely. It’s not expensive. There’s no bar in the hotel, but there’s one next door. I’d absolutely recommend it. I’ll update the review if any problems come up.
