Safari Camp Osian Resort

The campfire dancing and cultural show made for a fun, relaxed evening, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were available. We found the rooms, toilets, blankets, and other facilities clean, and the pool was clean too. The staff treated us with real warmth and respect, which helped us feel at ease. We enjoyed the jeep ride over the dunes, a bit like a roller coaster, and the short camel ride. The camel guides encouraged us not to be scared. We stopped to watch the sunset before heading back to camp. The food was excellent, and the rides were worth it. A lovely place to visit with family or friends.

We had a great time with the family. The traditional food was tasty, and we enjoyed the camel ride and Jeep Safari.

Booking through a contact at safari osian was a big mistake. Mahveer was rude and unprofessional, and after we had travelled a long way, his way of speaking spoiled the mood. We weren't guided on how to reach the camp, either. The tent had just one lantern, and the charges felt very high. They said the meal was vegetarian, but non-veg food was there too. I had brought only biscuits for the kids' dinner, and there was nowhere nearby. I wouldn't recommend it, and would rather go to jasalmer than osian.

The evening was a real highlight, with traditional songs and dancing, snacks, and a delicious dinner. From the welcome drink through the safari and photo spots, we enjoyed the visit. We were two women and had some safety worries at first, but talking with the owner, Mahveer Singh ji, eased my doubts. The staff were kind and made us feel like family, and the pickup and drop were safe and comfortable. It was a memorable, reassuring trip.
