OYO 18508 Hotel Shreya

We came to Bhubaneswar for a summer trip and were really impressed. The hotel is well kept and spotless, and our room was spacious and spectacular. The food looked great, though we didn't try it. It's also in a great spot, a block off Mancheheswar industrial estate, with almost everything downtown within walking distance. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the front desk and concierge to the housekeepers. Customer service is clearly a strong point. I'd recommend it to everyone.

We've stayed here several times and always enjoy both the hotel and the Bhubaneswar area. The rooms are perfectly adequate, and we especially like having two sinks. The old pictures throughout the hotel are a lovely touch. We take a walk around the whole acreage every morning, and we enjoyed the full breakfast. When we're back in this area, we'll always choose this hotel.

The hotel is close to the station, transport is easy to find in the area, and markets and important shops are within reach. Those are the good points. The room they gave us was the worst I've ever had, apparently because they were surprised by my booking rate. It was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the AC leaked like rain, and there were dead insects inside. The dining and restaurant area was somewhat tidy but dirty, so I can't recommend it. The reception manager had a creepy look and behavior, and the staff were rude except for one nice, cheerful guy. This is my own experience, not a paid collaboration or a grudge. A couple of times during our stay, chocolate was delivered to our room, which was a lovely surprise. The room was meticulously clean, with perfect air conditioning, a huge bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. It even had its own doorbell, which I thought was funny and cool. The bath towels were enormous, and there were extra pillows and blankets. One of my most memorable trips.
