Phibha Villa

At a good price, this is a very nice place to stay in Shillong. It's clean, has a good environment, and the staff are helpful and good.

I didn't eat anything in the end. I was afraid they might spit in my food or put something in it. I've never experienced hospitality this bad. The manager said I couldn't have an omelette made with more than one egg because breakfast was complimentary. Breakfast was part of the booking, and nowhere were food limits mentioned. When I asked why there was this rule or where it was written, I got no answer.

We've checked out today, and I'm extremely happy with our stay. The hospitality was superb, and the whole staff were so helpful. The service deserves praise. Our room had all the amenities adequately supplied, the food was very good, and there were good options for complimentary breakfast. I'd recommend it for a comfortable stay.

The staff were helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was good. The washroom was clean and had good facilities, but there was no bathroom stool, which made bathing in winter really inconvenient. The room and washroom were also very small. We could barely open one trolley bag at a time, and with no ventilation the room sometimes felt stuffy and suffocating.
