Rashi Resort

Cottage no. 3 had a lovely view, and the place was very peaceful. The roses growing around the grounds add a lot to its beauty. The rooms themselves are nice, but they need maintenance. The upholstery is in bad shape, dirty and misshapen, and the dining chair cushions were so uncomfortable that sitting on them was difficult.

The location is good, but our arrival was a very bad experience. The cottages I booked were filthy, especially the bathrooms, and there was no hot water. Service was poor too. We waited 25 minutes just to get glasses, and the food quality was bad. At checkout they demanded cash instead of accepting a card. I wouldn't book this resort for a family trip.

The owner was kind and very helpful, and private parking was available. Our room had a lovely mountain balcony view, including the sunset. The room, bathroom, and blankets were all very clean, and hot water was available all the time. A very good place and a great experience.

The staff behaved well, but the food was atrocious. The cook seemed untrained, and ingredients for several menu dishes weren't available, leaving no real choice. They charged Rs 30/- for a boiled egg. I also believe they are cheating the government by not issuing bills and not keeping a check-in/check-out register, apparently to avoid taxes. This did not feel like a place for respectable people. My advice is not to stay here or come back.
