We booked a room online for 7000 INR, but when we arrived it wasn't available, so they gave us a 4500 INR room. That part was fine. The trouble began when we asked for the price difference back. The managers spent over an hour going through calculations and arguing about the amount, then said breakfast would be free. We accepted because we were tired of the discussion. In the morning, a different manager asked us to pay separately for fresh lime soda because it wasn't included in breakfast. When I said that didn't feel customer friendly, they blamed upper management for the room still being available online. Very childish and unfriendly. They'd rather get a bad rating than give away a fresh lime soda. Good luck with that.

The place was dirty and poorly looked after, including dirty dishes and an unhygienic restaurant. The location is great, but management is horrible, if there even is one person you could call management. Please avoid it if you can. There's another property coming up right opposite this resort; it looks like a good 4 star property in the making, so you should wait for that one.

We stayed at United 21 resort for 4 nights in May and had a great time. The resort faces a scenic valley, and the staff were friendly, cooperative, and hospitable. Chail itself is fantastic for its natural beauty, and this place felt calm, pleasant, and inviting. Kali ka tibba is worth a visit.

The rooms have amazing views, and the staff were cooperative. United 21 sits in a serene spot in Chail wildlife sanctuary, on Chail - Kufri Road, at an altitude of 2150 m above sea level.

After midnight, nobody at reception would answer when we called about the extra bedding we were supposed to get. We also had a small electrical short circuit with their very old heaters, but no one picked up the phone or was at reception. Check the hygiene before checking in too. The towels had yellow vegetable stains, apparently left by a past user.
