Char Machan Resorts

The wedding ceremonies, from the varmala to the pheras, looked picture-perfect against the mountain scenery. We hosted my sister’s destination wedding at Char Machan Resort, and it felt like a dream. The Himalayan backdrop, quiet atmosphere, and well-maintained property made every moment special. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and guests appreciated the fresh, flavorful food throughout our stay. The staff and management were supportive and attentive, handling every detail with care so the event ran smoothly and without stress. The decor, arrangements, and coordination were flawless. If you’re planning a destination wedding near Kedarnath/Guptkashi, Char Machan Resort is a gem. They created lifetime memories for us. Highly recommended!

I paid 80 thousand for eight nights, and the poor service made it feel like a waste of money. The staff were awful, had no sense of how to talk to guests, and the cleanliness was bad. Don’t stay at charmachan resort. There are many other good hotels outside as well. The owner seemed irresponsible and had no sense of running a hotel business or speaking sensibly to customers. Our early check-in rooms weren’t given at 9 am as claimed, but at 12 pm. The owner should check Taj and lemon tree hotels. I’d recommend musk hill or valley view resort instead. Jain food should be available at a hotel with 20 rooms. They should be sensible enough to keep a Jain menu without making a show of it. Guests shouldn’t have to inform them in advance. The geysers didn’t work well and there was no hot water facility. There was no phone in the room for contacting staff, who weren’t very responsive.

The management arranged my wedding at triyuginarayn temple and took care of all the arrangements there, so we had a hassle-free experience. At Char Machan Resort, everything was well organized, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff were welcoming and cooperative, and the hospitality was top-notch. Thank you, Char Machan team. Highly recommend it!

The resort itself is beautiful and relaxing, even though the mountain view isn’t breathtaking. I stayed around three days while attending a friend’s wedding, and the staff were amazing and very helpful. Great service. A must visit if you’re traveling in this part of the valley.
