The one bright spot was the chefs’ cooking at lunch and dinner in the in-house restaurant. Otherwise, the rooms were average, the pool and other facilities below average, and the property poorly maintained. We booked seven rooms for the family and paid Rs.1000 per person, yet no water bottle was provided; a bottle cost Rs.30. Room service wasn’t available, and only the reception manager seemed to be there. It’s not a 5-star hotel, despite the impression, and the images are misleading. We didn’t get the pool or spa, and the gaming zone was basically a dusty zone. You can find better rooms for the same price. Money wasted, value for money: 00000 %.

We couldn’t park our car, and the hotel said the nearby “resort” wasn’t available for parking. They told us to park anywhere and said they wouldn’t be responsible if anything happened to the car. The rooms were dusty, and the bathroom tap sent water so far out that we had to put the bucket 2ft away to catch it. Our “deluxe” double bedroom was booked for two, but came with just one towel. Staff seemed to have no idea what hospitality means. They claim to be a 3-star hotel, but if you order from the in-house restaurant, they don’t bring food, and if you order from outside, they won’t let you. It felt like they just wanted guests to go to bed hungry. This is not a hotel, it’s an animal farm.

Dinner was in a lovely outdoor restaurant, but the service dragged because one person was taking orders, bringing food, and preparing bills. We arrived around 8:30 PM after traveling from Gujarat with high expectations from the resort’s impressive exterior. Inside was a letdown. We were given a room for three adults, but there was no room service or room boy available at night. The extra bed mattress was thin, dirty, worn, and stained. The replacement was just as bad, so we stacked both mattresses to make it usable. Even pillow covers were missing until we asked. The room had no napkins, outdated furniture, poor upkeep, and a TV remote that didn’t work. For 5-star resort prices, it delivered a 2-star lodge experience at best. The price and quality gap is shocking. The resort looks good outside, but the management, service, and room standards need serious improvement. I wouldn’t recommend it unless major changes are made.
