Eva Cabins

We felt right at home, thanks to the hosts, and the nearby trekking spots made it easy to get out and explore. Eva cabins is a real find in Himachal Pradesh if you’re after a reset and like cozy cabin style. The mountain views right outside the door are breathtaking, and the home-style food was incredible. It’s deeply peaceful, with a relaxing feel that makes for a proper digital detox. At night, we watched the stars around a cozy bonfire. Huge thanks to the hosts for making the place feel like home.

We spent hours chatting around the bonfire, did a short trek, and really enjoyed hearing Kaka bhaiya’s interesting stories and how much he knows about the area. His two kids and dog made the stay even nicer, and he also found us a cab back to Pathankot railway station at a very good price. Eva cabins will always be part of our unforgettable memories. My wife and I had been unsure about choosing this off-beat place, especially after wondering if the trek was worth it just to reach the stay when we spoke to Mr Kaka Ram on the phone. But our arrival changed that. Mr. Kaka was already waiting on the link road, took our luggage, and we started up the hill. It was a tough climb, though Kaka bhaiya and his wife kept encouraging us until we made it. The view grew more mesmerizing as we neared the cabins, and we were in awe of the location. Kaka bhaiya and sapna bhabhi gave us unmatched hospitality and home-cooked food. It felt so homely there.

The home-cooked meals were amazing, especially the local Himachali dishes, and the cabin has a lovely homely feel with a great view. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, even helping us plan the trip and guiding us on the trek to Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. I really loved our stay at Eva Cabins and would highly recommend it for a peaceful break.

Ram Bhaiya and his wife were so helpful during our Dalhousie trip, and their two kids were lovely too. They even arranged to pick up and drop off our luggage. The food was home-cooked and really delicious. Ram Bhaiya helped with the local area, arranged a bonfire, welcomed us warmly, and took some wonderful photos and videos. He’s talented and very cooperative. We had a great stay at Eva Cabins.
