Clarks Inn Kharar-Mohali

The breakfast was a letdown, with little variety and mostly below-average food. The fruit and a few Indian dishes were okay, but the cold cuts and dosa especially weren't done well. We also got unnecessary calls as early as 8:15 am asking when we'd come down, even though breakfast ran until 10:30. The hotel is clearly short-staffed: we had to haul our own luggage up the stairs, the doorman was only there sometimes, and I never saw the restaurant manager. Its ground floor is shared with a sweet shop, which takes away from the hotel feel, and the property is much smaller than it looks online. Parking is open and shared with nearby shops, with no dedicated or valet service. During a power disruption, the AC and TV needed manual resets. Then a storm knocked out the AC for the day and staff couldn't resolve it while we were sitting in our room. Thankfully, we checked out that day. The bed and linen were comfortable, the central AC cooled quickly when working, and the shower was good. Construction quality was a plus, with solid materials, sturdy furniture, and a well-built interior. Still, it falls far short of a typical 4-star family hotel. At best, this is an overpriced, overrated 3-star stay, more like a 2-3 star property charging premium rates under the Clarks brand. Unless the price and expectations are brought into line, I can't recommend it.

It was my first time trying this, and I loved how tasty it was and how the food was prepared and presented. Griraj presented the sushi impressively, and we really liked it. Shweth was very nice, and I appreciated the gesture.

The hotel will be our first choice if we visit kharar mohali again. The location, food, service, guidance, and staff behaviour all felt just right. The staff were polite, and the hospitality was amazing. I was delighted with the time we spent there.

The staff were warm, courteous, and really helpful, and everything for our celebration was so well organized. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed delicious food, and the party arrangements were excellent. Thanks for making it such a special, memorable occasion. Highly recommended!
