The bathroom was clean, but amenities were limited. The room was average in size, with no closets, just open hanging space above the ledge where you'd put a suitcase. Food was average as well. Water came in four 250 ml Bisleri bottles at a time, and you had to keep asking for more. After two days, there were enough little bottles to fill the bed. Why not provide larger ones? At checkout we waited around 25-30 minutes for help moving luggage from the room to the car, then did it ourselves. The hotel is in Chandigarh's industrial area, with no views, about 15 minutes from Sukhna Lake. For the price, much better places are available. I'll avoid it in future.

Jyoti at the breakfast area took great care of us, and the tasty spread had plenty of variety. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth. After our trip to Himachal Pradesh, Hometel Chandigarh was our last stop and a great choice. Our room was clean, well equipped, and well maintained, so we could relax after the long journey. It's also very close to Elante Mall and easy to reach. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return on our next visit.

The staff were especially friendly, and the food at Flavours was fresh and amazing. They made extra effort to meet specific food needs, and service was quick. The hotel is on the 2nd floor, with ample parking for two and four wheelers. Our room was squeaky clean and a decent size, with tea and coffee options and a minibar charged separately. Room service and housekeeping were prompt, and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout. A couple of things could improve: the small plastic water bottles create a lot of waste, so refillable bottles would be better, and hand showers would be more efficient alongside the regular shower. We'll look forward to coming back and would recommend it. They also offer a complimentary dinner for one night if you stay at least two nights.

The restaurant balcony looks out onto greenery, a calm and pleasant way to start the day. Breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the rooms had all the amenities I needed and were clean. Every request was handled within minutes, which was far beyond what I expected. The gym was quite small, but it did the job. I'd definitely recommend booking here.

The arrangements and cleanliness were perfect at the Edelweiss seminar on 7th March. But the buffet food was pathetic. Staff didn't refill empty trays while people were waiting in line, and it took 45 minutes for dishes to become available. The paneer was much too hard and chewy. Sarovar hotel Chandigarh used to be known for authentic food and quality, but now it is the worst. The food quality has fallen further than I could have imagined.
