Breakfast was good, especially the parathas and tea or coffee, and the price was reasonable. We paid ₹700 a night, but the room wasn't clean and the TV never worked, even after we complained three times. Fine for just 1-2 days, I think.

We were a couple arriving at night in a place we didn't know, and ended up paying Rs 1700 for a room that wasn't worth Rs 500. It was really dirty, with a pile of mess right outside the door. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is the only thing that gets a point. The room is the worst, and the service was so bad. Don't make the mistake of staying here.

I paid 1900 in total for only 28-30 hours. They first quoted 1400 for an AC room, then after bargaining agreed to 1k, but added another 900 because I arrived at 7:00 am, four hours before their check-in time. Different rates for new guests, apparently. I had a very bad experience and don't recommend it.

The food was good, the rooms were affordable, and the staff were very polite. Hotel Amar residency was a good stay.
