OYO 10362 Hotel Milan Inn

There's nowhere nearby to eat, and the hotel's own food wasn't very good, so ordering through Swiggy or Zomato is probably the better option. The rooms are fine for one night if you're just passing through. Parking is in a public lot outside, and the hotel is in one of Chandigarh's less attractive areas.

I arrived at 11:30 at night after paying for my stay, only to be told the rooms were full. They said “aage jao,” shut the door, and told me to ask for a refund. I was told my room had been given to someone else at a higher rate. The staff were rude and behaved badly. There's no hospitality here, and I think this hotel should be banned.

The staff were rude and arrogant. I also saw different single guests, men or women, going in and out of rooms within 20-30 minutes of each other. I can only guess what that indicates, but it made the place feel unsuitable for families or couples concerned about security and hygiene. When someone tries to complain or ask for the services they were promised, the staff have sticks and dogs.

Don't book here. I booked online and, when I arrived, the receptionist was rude and questioned why I'd paid in advance. The room was awful, with a horrible smell, a broken TV, and damaged walls. At checkout he marked me as checked out on his tablet at 5 am, then at 10 am asked to see my feedback message and tried to get me to give five stars on my phone. I wouldn't hand over my mobile and said I'd leave a rating later, but he kept misbehaving and pushing for a full rating. Don't book based on the ratings, or the same thing could happen to you.
