Hotel Royal Front by OYO Rooms

The room wasn't clean, and there was no drinking water, such a basic need. The TV and A/C didn't work even after we complained, and the staff were very rude. Basic amenities weren't being provided, so they might as well have opened a dharamshala instead. Be careful before booking, and never book through OYO. This is one of OYO's worst properties, and OYO isn't even listening.

We waited half an hour just to get our room because reception didn't have the computer password. The owner didn't trust the staff enough to give them the system password or storeroom key. There weren't even extra blankets, and nobody brought us water. The breakfast was terrible too. A dreadful stay.

The price is reasonable if you can put up with a cramped place. The rooms are like pigeonholes, and room service barely exists. Staff have to go out to buy tea, drinks, and food, so the wait drags on.

My friend booked us for two days through Oyo, but we had to leave after one. Oyo wouldn't accept or help change the booking to one day, saying we'd have to pay the full amount because we hadn't cancelled 12 hours in advance. The manager, Vizar, was kind and helpful. He spent over an hour talking to Oyo, helped us write an email, and even contacted the cluster head, and got the booking changed. The hotel is 10 mts from Delhi gate. Call them before check-in and they'll help plan your trip and suggest a cab.
